ARTS CENTRE MELBOURNE

Arts Centre Melbourne is both a defining Melbourne landmark and Australian largest performing arts centre. It consists of Theatres Building, the Hamer Hall concert venue and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, where it stages more than 4400 performances and public events.

From the exquisite sounds of strings rising gracefully from the heart of Hamer Hall to the crash and bang of a headliner act or bright tunes of a legendary local musical theatre diva lighting up the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the range of performance spaces offer a variety of ‘together experiences’ for diverse audiences.

'Under the Spire' sit the State Theatre, Playhouse, Fairfax Studio, St Kilda Road Foyer Gallery, Café Vic, car park and box office, and the Australian Music Vault, plus a variety of function rooms and other less conventional performing spaces.

Just across the lawn sits Hamer Hall, Australia's premier concert venue, which hosts performances across all music styles.

And a short stroll through the park over in the Kings Domain Gardens is Melbourne's iconic outdoor venue, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, a favourite to generations of candle-bearing carollers.
